The Freitag Store in Basel is located on Grünpfahlgasse in the old town of Basel. The idea of community and collaboration was key in the concept for the store. The permeable border between the store and the adjacent coffee house is defined by writing desks and work stations in keeping with the tradition of the Mitte development.

Das Shopkonzept nimmt einen Community- und Kollaborations-Gedanken auf: Mit Schreib- und Arbeitsplätzen wird die Grenze zwischen Store und dem angrenzenden Kaffeehaus durchlässig und die Tradition des Unternehmens Mitte fortgesetzt.
